When I was in high school, I had a friend that I joked with about a T.V. show called Kung Fu. We would always quote lines out of it and so I started calling him one of the characters name....which was "Grasshopper". I gave him the nickname of "Grasshopper" and that is how he always signed his name when giving me letters, etc.
I played volleyball on the jr. high and high school team and I had a coach that called me "stubby" because I was a short setter. I was also called "golden hands" because of my setting abilities. Other than that, I don't remember any other nicknames given to me.
